Job Title: HGV Mechanic (Coach & Truck)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: €52k – €60K DOE

Location: Dublin 12

Job Description:

One of the largest privately owned public transport providers in Ireland is actively seeking to expand its team.

In line with its ongoing growth and development, the company is now hiring a HGV Mechanic to join its ranks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing the fleet, which includes renowned brands such as Mercedes, Scania, Setra, Vanhool, and Volvo.

Responsibilities include:

• conducting regular maintenance,
• performing day-to-day repairs,
• carrying out monthly inspections,
• preparing vehicles for CVRT testing, and diagnosing faults and malfunctions.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• HGV experience (with preference given to those with Bus & Coach experience), and an excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic, preferably with Buses
• 1 year of experience in diagnosis and HGV operation.
• Suitable qualifications and relevant licenses are mandatory.

The position is based in Dublin 12, with a 10-hour shift Mon to Fri. Weekend work is available but not mandatory.
