Warehouse Operations Manager

Job description

Airport staff are seeking a flexible and driven Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the operations for our client based in Dublin 15 for their crate wash facility. This role is pivotal in managing a team large team of staff across various shifts, ensuring productivity targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse and crate washing operations, managing staff across multiple shifts.

• Drive production efficiency to meet and exceed operational targets.

• Actively lead and develop the team on the warehouse floor, promoting a positive and productive culture.

• Implement and maintain robust health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

• Identify and run continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

• Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or production management role, ideally within a busy environment.

• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to management and team development.

• Target-driven mind set

• Health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) or demonstrable experience in maintaining safety standards.

• Demonstrated experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to support weekend operations if required.
