Job Title: Ocean Operations Supervisor

Location: North Dublin

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all customersstandard operating procedures are followed as per the DLSOP.
  • Review and support day-to-day quotations.
  • Plan and support huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and delegate workloads within the team.
  • Take an active role in the transition of new business and updates to existing business.
  • Grow department revenue in line with district budget targets and management expectations.
  • Support all compliance efforts and training.
  • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas to improve efficiency.
  • Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements within the department.
  • Suggest and be involved in system/process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors (shipping lines, trucking companies, etc.).
  • Assist the Manager with EPEs in line with the 3+1 Initiatives.
  • Assist the Manager with goal setting and monitoring development for key staff.

Qualifications:

  • College/University degree or equivalent business qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word).
  • Fluent in English.
