Airport Staff is delighted to partner with one of Ireland’s most dynamic and fast-growing airlines to recruit an Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE). This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing operations team that values communication, collaboration, and a hands-on approach.

The Role
The Airworthiness Control Engineer acts as a key liaison between flight crew, CAMO, and Line Maintenance teams, managing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day planning of aircraft maintenance using AMOS, ensuring tools, parts, manpower, and hangar space are in place before work begins.
- Coordinating with flight operations to secure necessary downtime based on maintenance data and engineer input.
- Managing AOG aircraft scenarios, providing realistic return-to-service timelines.
- Tracking spare parts and components nearing expiry.
- Overseeing interface between the Operator’s CAMO and Line Maintenance AMOs.
- Planning and monitoring upcoming maintenance requirements, including AMP tasks, work orders, and high-priority items.
About You
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) OR EASA Part 66 B2 Type Licence holder.
- At least 3 years of aviation engineering experience is essential.
- Strong avionic background preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and general IT systems; AMOS experience is a plus.
- A proactive, dependable team player who can work cross-functionally and respond effectively to operational demands.
