Programme Manager SAR

Airport Staff are currently looking for a Programme Manager SAR to join our client based in Dublin.

Role Overview

Our client are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support the Irish SAR Director in delivering the Irish Search and Rescue (SAR) Programme. This role will lead the Programme Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective programme governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and successful delivery of strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the transition and implementation of the Irish SAR contract into steady-state operations.
• Lead and manage the PMO team and programme governance activities.
• Oversee programme planning, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, and benefits tracking.
• Prepare management reports and governance presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead programme management meetings and provide advice to the Irish SAR Director.
• Ensure programme activities align with business, financial, and operational objectives.
• Support business development initiatives and deputise for the Irish SAR Director when required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering large public sector or government programmes.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and other Microsoft applications.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
