Rigid Driver – Dublin Airport

Location: Blanchardstown – Dublin Airport
Schedule: 5 shifts per week (every Saturday off) with overtime available

Working hours: 3pm – midnight

Salary: €43, 951

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Category C licensed Driver to join their aviation catering team, operating between Ballycoolin and Dublin Airport. Working as part of a highly motivated team, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely loading and unloading of catering supplies and equipment to aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload food, beverages, and catering equipment as directed.
• Operate a specialised catering vehicle (Hi-Loader) servicing aircraft at Dublin Airport.
• Ensure all loads are secure and accurately signed for at collection and delivery points.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to all company, customer, aviation security, health & safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Complete quality checks and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses, taking preventative action where required.
• Maintain accurate records and update operational systems as needed.
• Work flexibly to support operational requirements and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Full, clean Category C Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Positive, flexible attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Must be able to successfully complete a 5-year background check and Garda Vetting.

Desirable

• Forklift Licence.
