Our client, a leading global logistics and supply chain provider, is seeking a Pricing & Quotation Executive to join their team in North County Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated freight forwarding professional to further their career within a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing competitive air and sea freight quotations, converting opportunities into bookings, and building strong client relationships while delivering tailored logistics solutions and supporting business growth.
Working hours: 9am – 5.30
Salary: €44 – 52,000
N.B This company is not located on a main bus route – Own Car Essential!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive air and sea freight quotations.
- Provide expert advice on freight forwarding products and services.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer and partner enquiries.
- Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and secure bookings.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through telephone, email, and other communication channels.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored logistics solutions.
- Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed freight bookings.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of freight forwarding services, market conditions, and industry developments.
- Accurately update and maintain customer information within Salesforce.
- Manage the credit application process for new customer onboarding and billing setup within CargoWise.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within cold chain or time-sensitive multimodal freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with reusable temperature-controlled packaging solutions.
- Experience using Salesforce, CargoWise, or similar logistics and CRM systems.
