Airport Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Executive to join a well-established and growing air cargo operation based in Limerick.

The successful candidate will join a highly experienced operations team and play a key role in coordinating international air freight shipments while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end air export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, overseas agents, and freight partners.
• Prepare and process export documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export procedures, and industry standards.
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively communicate updates to customers.
• Liaise with hauliers, warehouse teams, airlines, customs authorities, and international partners.
• Resolve operational issues and customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Process shipment costings, billing information, and invoicing requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas agents.
• Ensure high service standards are consistently delivered across all shipments.

About You

• Previous experience within air freight, freight forwarding, export operations, logistics, or supply chain (2-4 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of export documentation and customs procedures.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using freight forwarding or logistics management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
