AVSEC Instructor

Airport Staff are recruiting for an AVSEC Instructor to work as part of a team developing and delivering aviation security training programmes as required. Training to be delivered in accordance with EU and NCASP requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programmes as required by the training department
• Participate in the continual development of AVSEC training programmes
• Achieve and retain IAA Instructor certification
• Administrative duties as required (e.g. exam marking, file upkeep)

Skills, Experience & Qualities:

• Previous instructor experience desirable
• QQI Level 6 in training and development required
• A proven ability to draft and assist in the development of technical training and documents
• Previous people management experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Computer literate – (MS Office suite)
• Flexible working attitude with an ability to prioritise work, observe timetables and meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and conditions of uncertainty
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Integrity, reliability, honesty, self-disciplined with ability to work with own initiative

Salary: €40,000 increasing to €43,000 after 6 months
