B1/B2 Engineers
The Role
Our client, one of Ireland’s newest airlines, is looking to recruit experienced B1/B2 Engineers to join their team. This full-time, permanent role is based at their Head Office in Dublin Airport. Flexibility to travel at short notice and work at various locations to support operations is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduled Line Maintenance: Complete all specified scheduled line maintenance as instructed by supervisors or the Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE).
- Flight Operations Support: Meet the operator’s flights as requested and ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Certification: Only certify work or exercise special authorization privileges for which you hold a current PAC authorization.
- Spare Parts Management: Ensure all spares received for installation on an aircraft are eligible and compliant with attached paperwork regarding Part Number, Serial Number, Service Life Limitations, Airworthiness Directives, storage life limitations, and any other Form 1 stated requirements.
- AMOS Utilization: Order spares for all open HILS using AMOS.
- Liaison: Maintain continuous liaison with the Shift Supervisor or ACE throughout the shift to minimize delays to the operating schedule.
- Documentation: Complete all engineering documents and labels in full and inform the ACE of all arising defects, especially any that reoccur.
- Maintenance Compliance: Complete all maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance material (AMM/IPD/FIM/SRM/SB/SIL, etc.).
- Safety and PPE: Wear required personal protective equipment for tasks and notify the supervisor if safety equipment is unavailable or needs replacement.
- Tooling and Calibration: Ensure any tooling required to complete a task is the correct PN and, if required, calibration is in date. Inform the supervisor of any out-of-calibration tools.
- Defect Database Consultation: Consult the defects database on the re-occurrence of any defect to avoid needless component replacements and improve troubleshooting quality.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep working areas, break areas, and maintenance vehicles clean and tidy.
- Tooling Management: Return all tooling to tool stores at the end of the shift and update AMOS to reflect the tools’ location.
- Ground Equipment: Ensure all ground equipment is secure and refueled prior to the end of the shift.
- Weather Procedures: Be aware of and implement cold weather and high winds procedures as required.
- Reporting: Complete station delay reports within Event Tracking before the end of the day.
About You
- Hold a valid EASA Part 66 B1.1 / B2/ CAT A license.
- License endorsed with ATR 72-212A (-600) Type rating – Additional Types are a plus.
- Able to demonstrate recency of 6 months’ experience in the last two consecutive years on the ATR 72-212A – 600 aircraft.
- Full clean driver’s license.

- Well-organized with very good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines on multiple tasks and projects as part of a team.
- Take responsibility for tasks, with the ability to see tasks through to fruition.
