Our client, a leading public transport provider in Ireland, is seeking dedicated and professional Coach & Bus Drivers to join their expanding team. With a reputation for delivering comfort and style, they are entering an exciting period of growth and development. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a bus on assigned routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with disabilities or special needs.
• Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained, performing routine checks and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
• Issue tickets with our ticketing machine and validate prepaid customers tickets
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and report any delays or incidents promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
• Follow directions of Duty Manager
• Keep up-to-date with route changes, road conditions, and company updates.

Requirements:

• Valid Category D bus driving license.
• Valid CPC Card
• Tachograph card
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar transportation role preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for conducting routine bus checks.
• While previous driving experience is preferred, newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
