Normal Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Flexibility may be required at times.

Role Overview Our client is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team in North Dublin. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Issue customer quotations and convert them into bookings.
  • Manage key customer accounts, focusing on KPIs and performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to ensure retention and growth.
  • Proactively liaise with customers, suppliers, and partners to deliver high-quality service in a professional manner.
  • Liaise with customs and regulatory bodies when needed.
  • Apply customer rates, manage supplier charges, and handle invoicing.
  • Support colleagues in other departments both nationally and internationally.
  • Prioritise tasks flexibly to meet deadlines and achieve business goals.
  • Handle general customs processes, including export/import declarations and ACP processes.
  • Perform other ad-hoc office and administrative duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills/ good telephone skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in road freight and customs is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
