Customs Compliamce Manager
Are you a customs compliance expert looking for a leadership role with real influence? Our client is seeking a Customs Compliance Manager to lead customs compliance across their Ireland and UK operations, ensuring regulatory excellence, driving continuous improvement, and supporting a highly experienced customs team.
The Role
As the customs subject matter expert, you will:
- Lead customs compliance activities across Ireland and the UK.
- Manage AEO accreditation and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with Revenue, HMRC, and other customs authorities.
- Oversee customs audits, investigations, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement process improvements.
- Develop and deliver customs training programmes.
- Support operational teams with customs guidance and issue resolution.
- Identify risks and drive solutions to ensure smooth customs operations.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, clearance procedures, and compliance requirements. (3 years experience required)
- Experience within customs, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- A proven ability to manage audits, compliance processes, and regulatory relationships.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
