Forklift Driver

Job description

Airport Staff are recruiting an Experienced Forklift Drivers for our client who is a leading organisation in the logistics industry. We are looking to speak to candidates with experience operating in a fast paced warehouse environment and who has experience operating a reach forklift.

This role is a temporary role for 2 weeks with a view to change to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• As a forklift driver you will adhere to site safety rules.
• As a forklift driver you will operate a forklift to load and unload trucks as well as putting product away
• Adhere to organisation’s business values and quality and customer service standards.
• Delivery right first time approach regarding pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
• Checking and receiving deliveries accurately as per company SOPs.
• Ensure that stock is accurately recorded.
• Conduct cycle counts as required.
• Ensuring goods aren’t damaged.
• Excellent team player with good attention to detail.
• Picking and packing orders

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Forklift operator in a fast paced environment is desirable
• Up to date Forklift License required ( Reach and PPT)
• Manual Handling Certificate would be an advantage.
