HGV/LGV Mechanics

Airport Staff is seeking to hire a HGV/LGV Mechanic for our client at Dublin Airport to assist with the maintenance, repair and total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and carry out services of different levels
• Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair on a varied fleet of HGVs, LGV’s & Airport related machinery
• Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide updates on a daily basis
• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
• Work with truck models such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, and DAF
• To undertake any other duties or activities as required

Requirements:

• Be a fully qualified HGV/LGV Mechanic
• Hold a full C Licence (Preferably – but not essential)
• Be a people person with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
• Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills
• Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
• Work well under pressure

Salary: DOE
