HVAC – Applications Engineer – Cork

About the Role
Our client, a recognised leader in advanced ventilation and environmental control solutions, is expanding their engineering team in Cork.
As a HVAC Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial part in supporting customers, consulting engineers, and internal teams through expert technical guidance across a comprehensive ventilation product portfolio.
This position offers a diverse mix of design review, technical selection, customer support, and engineering collaboration, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on problem-solving in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical product selection, commercial guidance, and design engineering support to consulting engineers, contractors, and installers.
- Review project specifications, schedules, and design drawings in detail.
- Offer technical support to internal teams and customers both remotely and on-site.
- Analyse relevant engineering directives and guidelines (e.g., Part L, ERP, HTM) to ensure compliance.
- Support engineering teams during Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
- Prepare project documentation, including O&M manuals.
- Contribute to the development of project-specific bespoke engineering solutions.
Skills & Experience Required
- Third-level Engineering qualification (or higher).
- Strong organisational skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Solid working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Fluent/intermediate English language level.
