Inside Sales Executive – Logistics

We’re seeking a driven and ambitious inside sales executive to provide quotations, build relationships and manage customer accounts for a leading Logistics Company based in Dublin North.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Proactively source new leads and opportunities in line with GP targets.
• Follow up on sales leads and quotations to secure business.
• Record all calls and client interactions with detailed notes in company CRM
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring GP forecasts are recorded.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Prepare and source rate quotations for new and existing customers in collaboration with operations and commercial teams.
• Complete a minimum of 1,200 outgoing quotes annually, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Oversee SME and key accounts in the region, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
• Regularly review all accounts to confirm charges are in line with company and market guidelines.
• Meet with senior directors/managers to review account performance and implement new business.
• Develop and sustain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal colleagues.
• Focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that increase satisfaction and profitability.
• Actively identify opportunities to increase margin in line with company focus areas and market trends.
• Ensure customers are aware of terms, conditions, and credit arrangements, with billing aligned to expectations.
• Arrange external appointments for Commercial and Managing Directors as required.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 2 years logistics experience with a strong understanding of freight forwarding.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels
• Excellent presentation skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
