Driver – Catering Operations (Full-Time, Permanent)

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• 24/7 operation covering day, evening, and night shifts
• Weekday and weekend work required

The Role

You will be responsible for the delivery, loading, and offloading of catering equipment and supplies. This is a customer-facing role in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment where attention to detail and compliance with procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle safety checks at the start of each shift
• Load and offload catering equipment safely and efficiently
• Drive company vehicles in line with training and road safety regulations
• Ensure vehicles are security-checked, sealed, and fully documented
• Load equipment according to set plans and operational procedures
• Complete shift handovers and ensure documentation is signed correctly
• Return unused items to the unit and offload to relevant departments
• Use tachograph equipment correctly for all journeys
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles

Requirements

• Full Class C driving licence
• Valid CPC card and digital tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Experience driving rigid vehicles
• Comfortable driving both left- and right-hand drive vehicles
• Availability to work a 24/7 shift rotation
• Ability to pass Garda vetting and a five-year background check
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Legal right to work full-time in Ireland

Experience & Certification

• Driving experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Class C licence, CPC card, and tachograph card required
