Store Manager – North Dublin
Our client, a leading retailer of luxury furniture and premium home interiors, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to lead their showroom. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate retail leader with a flair for interiors, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven ability to drive sales and inspire high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the showroom, delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the premium nature of the brand.
- Drive sales performance, maximise productivity, and effectively manage store costs to achieve business objectives.
- Analyse daily and weekly commercial reports to identify opportunities and improve store performance.
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of engagement, accountability, and progression.
- Set clear individual and team objectives, monitor KPI performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Support underperforming team members through structured performance management and development plans.
- Ensure showroom displays and visual merchandising are maintained to the highest standards, creating an inspiring environment for customers.
- Oversee stock management and inventory accuracy to support efficient store operations.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer preferences, sharing relevant insights with the wider business.
- Build strong relationships with regional management and head office teams to support operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a Store Manager or senior retail management role, ideally within furniture, homewares, interiors, or another premium retail environment.
- A strong track record of achieving sales targets and delivering commercial success.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience recruiting, coaching, and developing successful retail teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance reports and make informed business decisions.
- A genuine interest in furniture, interior design, and home styling, with a good eye for presentation and detail.
- Confidence to work independently, take ownership of store performance, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
