Talent Acquisition Specialist – Maternity Leave Contract
The Role
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist for the aviation industry. Based at Dublin Airport and reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this is a maternity leave contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and project manage high-volume annual recruitment campaigns across cabin crew, flight crew, and engineering functions
- Shortlist applications, conduct competency-based interviews and assessments, and provide timely feedback to candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment partners
- Review and update job descriptions as required
- Build strong working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders while developing a strong understanding of business needs
- Partner closely with third-party recruitment providers to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of recruitment campaigns
- Provide regular recruitment status updates, reporting, and metrics to leadership teams
- Support ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as required
- Manage onboarding processes, including background checks, access cards, security clearance, and mandatory induction training
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A primary degree in Human Resources or a related discipline; CIPD membership is desirable
- Previous experience within aviation or crew recruitment would be advantageous
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to advise and support managers and colleagues on employee relations matters
- A proactive, agile, and collaborative approach with a strong commitment to excellence
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR Advisor or similar role with recruitment exposure
- Strong practical and logical problem-solving skills
- A flexible mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
