Our client, a prominent bus company, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Workshop Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, non-mechanical role based at their head office. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and coordination duties to ensure the smooth operation of a fleet of 35-40 buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Duties: Manage vehicle tax, insurance, and CRVT testing certification for the fleet.
- Liaison: Coordinate with Operations and various other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Mechanical Coordination: Work closely with the Mechanical Supervisor on issues such as scheduled servicing, testing, and lead times for vehicles to be back in service.
- Parts Management: Liaise with the Parts department regarding the sourcing and availability of parts.
- Non-Mechanical Coordination: Oversee non-mechanical issues such as livery or advertising changes.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as required to support the operation.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Similar experience in a workshop or fleet management role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Some mechanical/bus fleet knowledge (advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with various departments.
Working Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required.
Salary: Up to €60,000 depending on experience.
