General Operative

Airport Staff are looking for general operatives to join our client based in Ballycoolin, Northwest Business Park.

Our client operatives a crate wash facility, If you are not familiar with crate wash it is a large machine similar idea to a dishwasher that is used to clean plastic crates. (the type that fruit and veg in super markets are held in).

The main duties are :

• Feed and unload machine with R.T.P‘s (crates), ensuring quality at all times.
• Identify different crate types and segregate by type into designated areas.
• Sort and feed crates, checking for defects and non-compliance.
• Take washed crates off the machine, sort and palletize them by type and size.
• Secure formed pallet to customer specification.
• Comply with all site rules, policies and procedures.
• Any other Ad-Hoc duties as requested by your manager.

Shift pattern:

2 shifts available :

• 6am – 2:30pm (Monday to Saturday)
• 2:30pm – 11pm (Monday to Friday)

About you:

• As you will be working in a crate wash facility, you will need to feel comfortable working in a wet environment where the work is consistent and repetitive.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Excellent attendance and time keeping record.
• Ability to work to the required operational quality standards both through own initiative as well as building strong relationships and collaborating with the team.
• Strong communication skills
